Fees
At our practice, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare in a professional and compassionate environment. Below is important information about our fees, Medicare, and bulk-billing policies.
Medicare and Bulk-Billing
Medicare is a government-funded health subsidy scheme that helps cover some of the costs of healthcare. While some practices accept the Medicare rebate as full payment (a system known as “bulk-billing”), this practice does not routinely bulk-bill.
The reason for this is simple: the Medicare rebate alone does not cover the cost of delivering high-quality healthcare. To maintain the standard of care we believe our patients deserve, there is a “gap” or out-of-pocket expense for most of our services.
Private Billing Practice
This is a private billing practice, meaning most consultations with your doctor will incur an out-of-pocket cost.
- Fees:
Fees vary based on the length and complexity of your consultation and are payable at the time of your visit. Each doctor sets their own fee schedule, which may differ from the practice’s general fee guide.
- Bulk-Billing Eligibility:
While bulk-billing is not available for most patients, it is offered at the discretion of individual doctors for the following:- Children aged 15 years and under (excluding weekends or patients with complex health needs).
- Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Care Plans (excluding Mental Health Care Plans).
- DVA Gold Card holders.
- Doctor-initiated telephone consultations.
For other patients, we regret that bulk-billing is not possible as the Medicare rebate does not adequately cover the costs of providing the high standard of care we deliver.
- Concessional Rates:
Pensioner and Health Care Card holders may be eligible for discounted fees. Please present your current concession card to reception staff upon arrival. Discounts are at the discretion of the consulting doctor.

Medicare Rebates
Medicare provides partial rebates for most of our services for patients holding a valid Medicare card. Our system is linked directly to Medicare, so we can process your rebate on the spot. Refunds can be deposited directly into your bank account or credited to your debit card.
Please ensure you present your Medicare card and any applicable concession cards to reception staff upon arrival.
Non-Attendance Policy
To ensure we provide timely care for all patients, a $50 fee will apply for missed appointments not cancelled with sufficient notice.
- Please notify us at least 60 minutes before your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- We understand emergencies happen, and these situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
